President Joe Biden praised his Inflation Reduction Act during a speech yesterday, but while he was speaking the stock market dropped more than 1,200 points

The Tuesday speech came just hours after the Bureau of Labor Statistics released inflation data showing consumer prices had ticked up. In fact, grocery prices have risen more than 13%.
On Wednesday, more inflation data was released showing a range of producer prices rose and was only offset by a drop in gasoline prices from the previous record-high levels.
Trish Regan predicted this inflation, and the impact of the Federal Reserve’s reaction, for months.
