Biden press person Jen Psaki was called out Thursday evening on social media for a past tweet issued April 7, 2017. In the tweet, Psaki criticized the previous administration for its strikes against Syria.
Psaki wrote at the time, “What is the legal authority for strikes? Assad is a brutal dictator. But Syria is a sovereign country.”
On Thursday evening, the Biden administration announced that it had launched a strike attack on Syria. The U.S. is targeting Iranian-backed militants along Syria’s eastern border with Iraq for their recent attack on U.S. forces in Iraq.
Also what is the legal authority for strikes? Assad is a brutal dictator. But Syria is a sovereign country.
