President Biden was asked on on ESPN on Wednesday about his message for those athletes who are hesitant to take the Covid-19 vaccine.
“I’d say, look, I’m President of the United States, I got vaccinated,” responded Biden. “You know, it’s not I don’t have an unimportant job, but I take the vaccination… the vaccine… if I didn’t… if I was [thinking] going to hurt me or affect my capacity.”
“Look, we’ve done an incredible scientific research on the three vaccines that we’re using now, the J&J, Pfizer and Moderna. And they work. There’s even studies now showing that the Pfizer that works on younger people, 15, 16, 17 years old. So we’re making progress, but we have to get to the point where enough people have taken the vaccine.”
On Texas Rangers decision to open fully their stadium with no restrictions:
“Well, that’s a decision they made,” responded Biden. “I think it’s a mistake they should listen to Dr. Fauci and the scientists, and the experts and but I think it’s not responsible.”
