President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better plan has languished in Congress as Republicans and Democrats remain in gridlock over the multi-trillion dollar bill.
One Senator, though, is saying what a lot on the right are thinking.
In an op-ed for Fox News, Sen. Bill Hagerty called it “big-government dependency.”
“By pushing America toward big-government socialism, this ‘Build Back Better’ legislation poses a grave threat to the American Dream,” he wrote. “It would impose unprecedented government control that deserves unceasing opposition from every American who still believes in the opportunity to climb the socio-economic ladder.”
Trish Regan said on her podcast Thursday that Biden’s policies have hurt him with voters. Build Back Better has so far been unable to change that trend.
“He has proven to be one of the most ineffective presidents in history, and this is a reminder to everyone that policy matters,” Regan said, pointing to Biden’s low poll numbers.
The Senator’s comments echo a sentiment from Trish Regan in September, where she pointed out that Biden has embraced the “GOVERNMENT GONE WILD” philosophy.
