The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has updated its guidance to warn of increasing danger to families this winter.
The CDC released updated guidance this week about the upcoming holiday season, saying people should stay six feet away from each other even when outside.
Or better yet, keep Thanksgiving and Christmas virtual.
“Attending gatherings to celebrate events and holidays increases your risk of getting and spreading COVID-19,” the guidance says. “The safest way to celebrate is virtually, with people who live with you, or outside and at least 6 feet apart from others.”
Also, you can buy a fan.
“If celebrating indoors, bring in fresh air by opening windows and doors, if possible,” the CDC said. “You can use a window fan in one of the open windows to blow air out of the window. This will pull fresh air in through the other open windows.”
