CNN recently launched a new subscription service, but is already talking about cutting staff because so few people have been interested.
Check out the response online after this video:
SOURCE: Chris Wallace is “having daily breakdowns” over the “miserable launch” of @CNNplus. Wants a “CNN show or is threatening to walk” they go on. “He is having staffers count how many times a day his promo is playing”

Imagine leaving your extremely influential perch as host of Fox’s Sunday news program in order to go to a CNN streaming service where you know that every time you speak, fewer than 10,000 people are listening. Small YouTubers are embarrassed by those numbers. https://t.co/Ha6D3rcn9X

CNN invested $300 million in CNN+ and has fewer than 10,000 people watching a day. That incredible failure has CNN+ already on the cancellation ropes: https://t.co/4CbtYJRuk4

CNN has already invested $300 million into CNN+.
This works out to ~$30,000 invested per daily viewer. Absolutely dismal numbers. https://t.co/LT6J3ASH6G

Life is short. In the wake of this CNN+ news, take a moment today and:
1. Make fun of CNN and their hilarious failure.
2. Examine your own bubble. We all create one for ourselves. You only make mistakes that big if you live in a cloudy one.— Jesse Kelly (@JesseKellyDC) April 12, 2022
The loss plays into an overall decline from CNN in recent years.
Even with a major war ongoing, the continued disappearance of MSNBC and CNN’s audience is extreme and rapid. The number of viewers under 55 watching MSBNC’s prime-time shows is barely 100k or less. These are mid-level YouTube numbers. pic.twitter.com/agrrwSLTe5
