Justice Brett Kavanaugh narrowly escaped an assassination attempt, and now critics are pointing to hypocrisy in the media’s coverage of the event.
The media has lost most of its credibility with Americans in recent years, polling shows.
Critics pointed to the constant negative media coverage for former President Donald Trump, saying if the roles were reversed, they would be covering the story much differently.
Obviously if the roles were reversed & a pro-life fanatic were arrested outside Sotomayor’s house, the media would already targeting conservative “rhetoric.”

The issue is particularly partisan because of the upcoming Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision. Also, Democrats have stalled legislation passed by Republicans in Congress that would increase security for Justices.
