“Great things happened in 2020 and we are grateful for President Trump for his leadership moving the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and pushing the peace initiative in the region,” said Danny Danon, the chairman of World Likud in Israel.
“I hope the President-elect will continue with the momentum because it’s good not only for Israel or the modern Arab countries, it is good for the U.S.,” Danon told Fox News on Sunday.
“The US gained a lot of respect in the region when they led the peace initiative, when they built a coalition of modern countries that work with the US against the aggression of Iran.”
“And I would advise the new administration first thing not to run and negotiate with the Iranians, on the contrary, to speak with the US allies, to speak with them about their concerns, about their approach to Iran and then think what to do. I think that will be the wisest thing to do, because, you know, when you have the Israelis and the Muslim countries thinking the same way, I think you should listen to them.”
