As prices continue to soar, Democrats are taking heat for what they said last year about inflation and gas prices.
One tweet in particular has come back to bite Democrats.
This Democrat tweet turns 6-months old today.
Dems thanked Biden for gas prices dropping 2 cents when it cost $3.40 per gallon.
6-months later, gas now costs $4.71 per gallon.
Thanks, @JoeBiden. https://t.co/MZccwF5tKn

Gas went down .2 cents a gallon last year and the DCCC spiked the ball like they’d just won the Super Bowl in double OT.
Since then, gas has gone up over a dollar a gallon, and they’re like get an electric car, dummy. https://t.co/74RyCKZoNK

Gas prices are at record highs, but if your family is paying the price, don’t worry!
The @WhiteHouse and @DCCC want you to know that they saved you two whole cents back in November.
Thanks, @JoeBiden. https://t.co/pmy8Zhm82f

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen also admitted she was wrong about inflation during an interview with CNN.
“I think I was wrong then about the path that inflation would take,” she said.
Her admission, after months of spiking inflation, drew pushback online.
