Dems Furious (And Terrified) After Caitlyn Jenner Calls for Border Wall

California gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner voiced full support for the border wall this week, and Democrats are not happy.

“I am all for the wall,” Jenner said in an interview on Fox News. “I would secure the wall. We can’t have a state, we can’t have a country without a secure wall.”

Jenner went on to offer more thoughts on immigration, stressing the need to stop illegal immigration and deal with the illegal immigrants already in the country.

“You have two questions here,” Jenner said. “One is stopping people from coming in illegally into the state. And then the second question is, what do we do with the people that are here? We are a compassionate country, OK? We are a compassionate state. I mean, some people we’re going to send back, OK, no question about that, but I have met some of the greatest immigrants into our country.”

Jenner also commented on the hot topics of homelessness and law enforcement in light of a slew of riots, protests and deadly police shootings.

“It’s not going to be easy, but I will do my absolute best,” Jenner said. “I am for securing this state. I am pro-law enforcement. I am pro-border protection. OK? ICE, [I am] pro-ICE. We need these people, and they do a wonderful job.”

The comments sparked a flurry of pushback on the left.

This incident is just one of multiple comments Jenner has made that sparked outrage on the left. Jenner spoke out against trans girls competing in female school sporting leagues, sparking opposition from many in the trans community.

Jenner has had a dicey relationship with the left for years ever since Jenner voiced support for former President Donald Trump. Jenner later walked back that support, but many on the left have not forgiven Jenner.
