The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is spending big time to support pro-Trump candidates in Republican primaries, and Democrats are furious.
Recently, the DCCC spent half a million dollars to support pro-Trump John Gibbs in a primary against a more moderate Republican.
Democrats, who want you to believe they are dedicated to protecting democracy, are meddling in a primary to oust one of the few Republicans who voted to impeach Trump after Jan 6th. https://t.co/OSrlHWRTew

The DCCC apparently believes the pro-Trump candidates will have less of a chance of beating the Democrat, but “meddling” in the Republican primary has gotten a lot of pushback.
“No race is worth compromising your values in that way,” Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-Fla.), told Politico.
Democrats have expressed outrage.
I’m disgusted that hard-earned money intended to support Democrats is being used to boost Trump-endorsed candidates, particularly the far-right opponent of one of the most honorable Republicans in Congress, @RepMeijer. Another reason to reform our broken campaign finance system. https://t.co/hhKYcLVmxk

News of the infighting created a lot of stir on Twitter.
Some screenshots from the DCCC’s latest “attack” ad on Trump-backed primary challenger John Gibbs in Michigan, where he’s in final week of campaign to unseat Pete Meijer.
Pretty obvious what the Democrats are doing here in GOP primary… pic.twitter.com/mGdPtMD9Sw

It’s not just any Democrat doing this. It’s literally the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee paying for this John Gibbs (R) ad. @DCCC is the House Democrats official campaign arm & they’re running TV ads on behalf of an election conspiracy theorist in #MI03‘s GOP primary https://t.co/gynTqaRa3O
