The push to transition to electric vehicles continues to increase, but new polling shows Americans are not convinced.
Rasmussen Reports released the poll, which showed most Americans don’t think the vehicles are practical right now.
“The federal government is spending billions of dollars to promote electric vehicles, but most Americans still don’t consider them practical,” Rasmussen said. “The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 28% of American Adults believe electric cars today are practical for most drivers. Fifty-four percent (54%) think electric cars aren’t practical, while 18% say they’re not sure. Those findings are little changed from March.”
The poll comes as California has taken fire for putting a future ban on gas cars and limiting electricity use.
California residents urged “to avoid charging their electric vehicles” over LDW a week after the state announced it will end the sale of gas vehicles by 2035. https://t.co/oaz72X8smS
