Elon Musk is dominating headlines lately and has done it once again by taking a shot at Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg during an interview this week.

Musk has said he wants to take Twitter private, make the algorithm public, and restore free speech to the platform. During an interview, Musk was asked if it someone as rich as him controlling Twitter would be dangerous. His response drew laughs.
“As for media sort of ownership, I mean, you’ve got Mark Zuckerberg owning Facebook and Instagram and WhatsApp, and with a share ownership structure that will have Mark Zuckerberg the 14th still controlling those entities,” Musk said, apparently referring to Louis 14th, also called the “Sun King,” who ruled France for 72 years, the longest recorded reign of any monarch in history.
“Like, literally,’ Musk added. “We won’t have that at Twitter.”
Other defenders of Musk have pointed out that billionaire Jeff Bezos purchased the Washington Post without nearly the same controversy.
Gosh, what a massive coincidence that the Jeff Bezos-owned Washington Post thinks Elon Musk joining Twitter will be bad for Twitter. Shocked, shocked! https://t.co/GDaNG1NtfU

The comments come as Elon Musk is potentially on the verge of buying Twitter. The company’s board seems to be scrambling to stop it while liberals are fearful of Musk’s ownership. Vanguard recently upped its share of Twitter stocks.
Others have come to Musk’s defense or mocked liberal fretting.
