A new law requires that anyone who wants to go to a shopping mall, bar, or restaurant in France, must present a Covid-pass showing that they have had the vaccine.

Failure to do so will result in six months in jail, authorities say. Meanwhile, business owners who fail to check for identification, will be subjected to a 45,000 euro fine.

France hopes that the draconian measures will help the country to take the spread of Covid-19 more seriously.
