Shortly after that statement made in early June, she tried to walk it back saying that she didn’t mean what she said. “I was in no way equating terrorist organizations with democratic countries with well-established judicial systems.”
But on Tuesday, in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper when asked if she regretted any of those comments, she said: “I don’t… I think it’s really important to think back to the point I was trying to make, obviously I was addressing Secretary of State Blinken.”
