Joe Rogan Claims 200 Congressmen Were Treated With ‘Horse Dewormer’ Ivermectin

Here’s something that the mainstream media missed.

Last week, Joe Rogan made another bombshell claim on his podcast that reaches an estimated 11 million people per episode.

He claimed that Ivermectin, a drug that the mainstream media refers to as “horse dewormer” has been prescribed by 200 members of Congress to treat them for COVID-19.

Rogan made the controversial claim in an episode in which he hosted a cultural commentator Michael Malice.

Neither are fans of the mainstream media.

‘Rogan Taking Horse Dewormer’

Malice referenced a popular video montage of the Joe Rogan Ivermectin treatment coverage.

It shows multiple media personalities claiming that Joe Rogan took a “horse dewormer” to treat COVID.

The video features Rogan’s earlier pushback against these claims.

“They keep saying I took a horse dewormer. I literally got it from a doctor,” Rogan said. He claimed that the media was deliberately lying about his treatment.

“It’s a lie on a news network, and it’s a lie that they’re conscious of. It’s not a mistake,” Rogan stated. “They’re unfavorably framing it as veterinary medicine,” he continued.

“Bro, do I have to sue CNN?” he said on the coverage. “They’re making s**t up!”

200 Congress People Took Ivermectin?

Rogan went over those claims again in his last week’s podcast.

“It’s fascinating. I listed off a laundry list of medication and that’s the one they focused on,” said Rogan, listing off the medications he used.

Rogan stated that he took monoclonal antibodies, prednisone, Z-pak, NAD and a vitamin drip. “And I also took Ivermectin.”

“It shouldn’t be a surprise. I had doctor Pierre Kory, who was of the doctors from a front-line critical COVID care group.”

According to Rogan, their patients included “200 congresspeople. 200 have been treated with Ivermectin. Google that. I believe you can find it on Pierre Kory’s Twitter page.

No Evidence To Confirm The Statement

Dr. Pierre Kory has, in fact, made a statement claiming that one of his colleagues treated 100-200 congresspeople with ivermectin.

There is no evidence, other than claims made by Dr. Kory, that his colleagues treated “100 to 200” members of Congress.

However, individual members of Congress confirmed that they were prescribed Ivermectin by their physicians, including Republican Representative Andy Harris.

Dr. Pierre Kory has links to the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC). The group’s website features numerous interviews by Dr. Kory and advocates for the use of Ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19.

Dr. Kory has also authored a study on the efficacy of Ivermectin as a COVID-19 treatment. He discourages using the veterinary variant of the drug and self-medicating. The drug should only be taken when prescribed by a physician.

U.S. health authorities, including the Food and Drug Administration, do not recommend using Ivermectin as a treatment for COVID.
