After the tragic shootings in Uvalde, Texas and Buffalo, New York, the debate over gun control has resurfaced.
Rogan has now weighed in, and his remarks are making waves.
“It’s like, how do you stop that? No one knows how to stop that,” Rogan said. “What is the answer? Is the answer to take everyone’s guns? Well, they’re not going to give their guns up. Only criminals are going to have guns. It’s not going to be a good situation.”
“We see how [the government is] with an armed populace, they still have a tendency towards totalitarianism,” he said, adding that it would be even worse for an unarmed population.

The comments sparked pushback and support online.
Joe Rogan said “This country has a mental health problem disguised as a gun problem.”
