Kanye West Legally Changed His Name To ‘Ye’

Kanye West has legally changed his name to just “Ye,” after successfully petitioning a Los Angeles court.

Kanye first mentioned the name Ye in 2018.

“I believe ‘ye’ is the most commonly used word in the Bible. In the Bible it means you,” he said in an interview.

“It went from being Kanye, which means the only one to just Ye, just being a reflection of our good, our bad, our confused everything. It’s more of a reflection of who we are [as] beings.”

He also released an album in 2018 called “ye.”

Five years later, the famous rapper changed his birthname Kanye Omari West to the mononym Ye.

That’s not even the only curious Kanye news this week.

The eccentric rapper wore a strange white leather mask in Italy, in order to hide his face from reporters.
