Newly released polling data shows American voters blame one party in particular for the recession.
Rasmussen Reports released new polling which showed the majority of voters blame Democrats for the recession.
“A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports finds that 62% of Likely U.S. voters believe the U.S. economy is currently in a recession, while 23% think it’s not,” Rasmussen said. “Another 15% are not sure.”
New federal data released last week showed two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth, the textbook definition of a recession, despite the Biden administration’s attempt to deflect.
“Despite denials from the White House, most voters think the American economy is in a recession – and agree that Democrats are to blame for it,” Rasmussen said.
