Nina Jancowica, who left her leadership position on the Department of Homeland Security’s new government disinformation board, said that very board could somehow stop those shootings.
“I think another example that’s important… that’s also within the Department’s portfolio, especially given the events of the past few weeks, is that disinformation plays a role in radicalizing people to violence,” she told the NPR podcast ‘Fresh Air.’ “…we’re seeing continued mass shootings here in the United States, and in many of those cases, violent extremism is begotten by things people see on the Internet.”
“So, that’s the sort of thing that we would be looking to address,” she said.
There was immediate backlash for her comments.
Defuncted Director of the Disinfo Board, Nina Jankowicz, says that the “Truth Ministry” could help “address” mass shootings. Riddle me this, Dolores Umbridge. How exactly would that help? How could it have helped Uvalde? Please help me understand.
