Rasmussen Reports released the poll, which found that only 39% of Americans disapprove.
“Most voters approve of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s program to bus illegal immigrants from his border state to ‘sanctuary cities’ like Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C.,” the group said. “The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 52% of Likely U.S. voters approve of Abbott’s policy, including 36% who Strongly Approve. Thirty-nine percent (39%) disapprove, including 25% who Strongly Disapprove of Abbott’s policy.”
DeSantis sent migrants on a plane to Martha’s Vineyard in the latest of several shuttles via plane and bus of illegal immigrants to major Democrat-led cities. Those cities’ Democrat leaders have responded with outrage. Republicans argue they are getting a small taste of what border states experience every day.
The latest arrival sparked a flurry on Twitter.
What’s the evidence, say, Texas is “xenophobic and cold hearted” here? They’ve been absorbing mass influxes of immigrants for decades.
If 5k immigrants show up in town in South Texas, D.C. shrugs. 50 show up in Martha’s Vineyard it’s national news. The contrast is the point. https://t.co/Bt7iWVuqKJ

No one on the left cares that illegal immigrants are flooding towns on the border in Texas or Arizona… but if there’s even the minor threat that they might see a brown person they don’t approve of walking by their brunch in Martha’s Vineyard, they lose it.

The fact that Democrats care more about 50 illegal immigrants in Martha’s Vineyard than the several hundred forced to shelter under a bridge in El Paso as CBP agents are overwhelmed tells you everything you need to know.
