If you didn’t get your stimulus check yet – fear not. Another round of checks is being processed for direct deposit this week, with many more arriving my mail in the coming weeks.
According to a statement from the IRS and US Department of Treasury, checks will be delivered by Wednesday, March 24th.
To qualify for a stimulus check, Americans must have made less than $80,000 in the most recent tax year. A married couple will have needed to made less than $160,000.
Individuals earning up to $75,000 (or, $150,000 for a couple) are to receive the full amount of $1400 per family member. ($1400 for each dependent child is allotted.)
For those Americans earning more than $75,000 as individuals (but less than $80,000) the amount of money is reduced. The IRS determines eligibility through 2020 or 2019 tax returns.
So far, 90 million Americans have already received checks. The Biden administration’s $1.9 trillion stimulus is the largest in modern history and, according to a new report Monday, is the precursor to an expected additional $3 trillion in soon-to-be proposed stimulus.
