Trish Regan blasted the Biden administration on her latest podcast for telling Americans what COVID treatments they are allowed to use.
“Florida Governor DeSantis …battling with the Biden administration over the distribution of these lifesaving coronavirus treatments,” Trish Regan said on her podcast. “U.S. health regulators are apparently regulating the emergency use of certain antibody treatments, which leaves two thousand Floridians not able to access the care, the treatment, that they need, according to the governor. Two thousand Floridians had appointments for these treatments canceled.”
Some allege red states are receiving fewer treatments over politics.
“And some of the allegations are, in fact, that Florida is being unfairly penalized,” Trish Regan said. “If that’s in fact true, that is indefensible. Ron DeSantis tweeting out, ‘Without a shred of clinical data to support his decision, the Biden administration has revoked the emergency use authorization for lifesaving monoclonal antibody treatments. Floridians have benefited from the state’s treatment sites, and their access to treatment shouldn’t be denied based on the whims of a floundering president.” Well, you know a little bit of a dig there, but he goes on to say this indefensible it. It takes treatment out of the hands of medical professionals and will cost some Americans their lives. There are real world implications to Biden’s medical authoritarianism. Americans access to treatments is now subject to the whims of a failing president. I mean, this really is pretty scary stuff. In fact, if the federal government is deciding who can get treatment, who cannot?”
