New Intel suggests the Wuhan Institute of Virology may have mistakenly leaked the virus
Anthony Fauci admits the virus may not have started in wet market
Former President Trump issues statement on his web platform
The former President of the United States, Donald Trump, took to his website to remind the world that he called it first.
In the spring of 2020, at the height of the pandemic, the President said he believed that it was leaked from a Virology Lab in Wuhan, China.
In a statement on his website Tuesday evening, Trump wrote,“Now everyone is agreeing that I was right when I very early on called Wuhan as the source of of Covid-19, sometimes referred to as the China virus. To me it was very obvious from the very beginning but I was badly criticized, as usual. Now they are all saying, ‘he was right.’ Thank you!”
Indeed, most intelligence now suggests exactly that; the virus was leaked. In April of 2020, the former President was asked this question by a reporter:
Reporter: Have you seen anything at this point that would give you a high degree of confidence that would cause you to believe that the Wuhan institute of virology was the source of this virus?
Trump: Yes, yes I have and I think the world health organization should be ashamed.
At the time, Trump was ridiculed and maligned for that statement. Many in the main stream and liberal media accused him of entertaining conspiracy theories.
In the Guardian, the headline was “Trump fan flames of Coronavirus China theory.”
At CNN, commentators ridiculed Trump’s statements on air while writing stories like, “Trump contradicts US intel community by claiming he’s seen evidence coronavirus originated in Chinese lab.”
In Science Magazine, the spotlight was placed on the Chinese scientist at the center of the controversy. “Trump owes us an apology— Chinese scientist at the center of COVID-19 origin theories speaks out” was the title.
And here’s the headline that everyone at the time went wild for…
“Fauci: No Evidence Coronavirus Made in Lab” said National Geographic quoting Anthony Fauci.
“If you look at the evolution of the virus in bats and what’s out there now, [the evidence] is very, very strongly leaning toward this could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated,” Fauci told National Geographic.
“Everything about the stepwise evolution over time strongly indicates that [this virus] evolved in nature and then jumped species.” he concluded in the magazine interview.
Fauci Changes Tune
A year later, the intel community believes a Wuhan Lab link is a real possibility and even Dr. Anthony Fauci has had to come around by admitting he “cannot rule out the china lab” as the covid source.
