President Joe Biden’s State of the Union speech received mixed review, but one issue in particular drew particular pushback.
Biden took fire after his speech for not mentioning the 13 U.S. service members killed in his chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan last year.

When Biden said flag draped coffins I couldn’t stay silent. I told him directly he did it. He put 13 in there.
Our heroic servicemen and women deserve so much better.

Biden mentioned “Afghanistan” twice, only in reference to burn pits & cancer. No mention of the Taliban takeover following his disastrous & botched U.S. military withdrawal. No mention of the 13 heroic U.S. service members murdered by an ISIS-K suicide bomber at Kabul’s airport. pic.twitter.com/ad7ndEM026

The left is pissed because I called out Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan that left 13 of America’s finest in a flag-draped coffin.
They are mad because a speech was “interrupted”.
Ask the the families who lost their loved ones how interrupted their lives are now.

Biden should have paid tribute to the 13 fallen HEROES in Afghanistan that lost their lives.
He did not during #SOTU2022.

In 2017, Donald Trump pointedly recognized the death of Navy SEAL William “Ryan” Owens on his watch and honored his widow Carryn Owens during his speech to Congress.

I hear a lot about Beau Biden, but not enough about the 13 heroes who died during the disastrous Afghanistan pull out

.@laurenboebert gives Biden a stern reminder of the 13 fallen American heroes who died during Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal after he FAILS to even mention them at his #SOTU:
Yells “13” to his FACE.

While Biden took heavy criticism for that issue, several other points in his speech drew scorn.
Don’t retweet this clip of Biden saying he would “absolutely” “redirect” funding away from police departments after he just made an empty promise to do the opposite at his #SOTU
Please don’t RT. Brandon will be very mad.

No mention of the Afghanistan withdrawal last year in Biden’s SOTU speech. It’s almost as if the administration doesn’t want to talk about the thousands of Afghans we left behind.

CNN’s David Chalian says the “instant reaction” of Biden’s #SOTU shows that Biden is losing support among all Americans, including Democrats. pic.twitter.com/JxRx1VNjNo
