Members of the U.S. Space Force have an official name. On Friday, Vice President Mike Pence announced that they would now be known as “guardians.”
At an event celebrating the first year of the Space Force, Pence said, “We just returned from the Oval Office and so it is my honor, on behalf of the President of the United States, to announce that henceforth, the men and women of the United States Space Force will be known as guardians.”
