“Country roads, take me home.”
Facebook CEO’s botched attempt at relatability might just make you cringe.
Mark Zuckerberg posted a rather perplexing 4th of July video of himself surfing on hydrofoil and holding an American flag while John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads plays in the background.

The video has likely left thousands perplexed and thousands more cringing.
Many wondered what could possibly be the motivation behind releasing such a video. One answer could be that the video is an effort to polish the tech CEO’s public image.
Zuckerberg has taken a great deal of care of how he presents himself to the public. Lately, his public image has not been the best, as Facebook is accused by conservative groups of censorship and attempting to influence the 2020 election.
His attempts at maintaining a carefully crafted public image haven’t had the desired result. Likely due to his awkward mannerisms, many jokingly question whether the tech CEO is even human.
